Base Modes

Last updated 5 years ago

Base modes can be thought of as the "bottom layer" of your keyboard, and other effects are layered above them. There are four base layer modes you can select: Static Colors, Reactive Weather, Battle Stance and Job Classes.

Base mode are made up of two colors, the base and highlight keys. When enabled, highlight keys show critical keybinds such as your WASD, Shift, CTRL and Space in a different color to the rest of the keys (base).

Static Colors

Static colors use a single color for base and highlight keys. These colors don't change unlike the other base modes.

Reactive Weather

Reactive weather changes your base and highlight key colors based on the current weather in a zone. Every time the weather changes in your zone, the colors will change also.

Battle Stance

Battle stance will change your base and highlight key colors based on your current battle state. Colors will change based on if you are engaged to an enemy or not, and your enmity level with the engaged enemy.

Job Classes

Job classes will change your base and highlight key colors based on what job/class you currently are. You can assign different color palettes for each job.

Reactive weather mode for Overcast weather.
Engaged to an enemy with full aggro.
Default Job class colors for Red Mage.
