Setting up Logitech G Hub

While Logitech LGS is still supported, there are a lot of issues with the platform which cause varying issues and conflicts with Chromatics. Therefore it is recommended that you upgrade to Logitech G Hub if supported by your device. If you need to use LGS, please look at this troubleshooting guide for support.

To use Logitech RGB devices, you need to install Logitech G Hub software. Once installed, you need to change some settings to allow Chromatics to run.

Disable built-in FFXIV LED support

The first thing you must do is disable the native FFXIV integration. Final Fantasy XIV has built-in support for Logitech RGB devices, which is limited and not as functional as Chromatics. This integration must be disabled to allow Chromatics to run.

To disable built-in FFXIV support, open your desktop or active profile in G Hub and select the integrations tab, then select ffxiv_dx11.exe. Under the general tab, un-check the enabled button so that it is grey.

Disable other applications

Using the same method as above, disable other applications such as Discord, to prevent conflicting with Chromatics.

Configure G Hub Settings

Open the G Hub settings by click the cog in the top right hand corner of G Hub. Then under the App Settings tab, make sure that Allow Games & Applications to Control Illumination is enabled. Also make sure Persistent Profile is set to None.
