Chromatics and Google Cast

You can use Chromatics to send audio triggers to Google Cast & Google Home devices, based on specific events. The currently available triggers are:‌

  1. Duty Finder Bell - Sends an audio alert when Duty Finder pops and duty is ready for commencement.

  2. Eorzea Time Alarm - Sends an audio alert at a certain in-game time. The time can be specified under Integrations > Events.

  3. S Rank Alert - Sends an audio alert when an S-Rank spawns in zone. This requires your character to be in the zone already.

  4. Ready Check Alert - Sends a n audio alert when yourself or someone in your party initiates a ready check.

Settings up Google Cast

Enable the Casting checkbox to enable the Google Cast integration. Enabling Google Cast will do a quick scan on your network for Google Cast and Google Home devices and populate the Casting Device drop-down with any found devices.

If your device doesn't show in the drop-down device, check that you don't have a Firewall (such as Windows Firewall) interfering with Chromatics and casting traffic.

To test that Chromatics can communicate with your device, select the Test button to send a Duty Finder Bell alert to the selected device.
