General Settings

Use Local Cache

By default, Chromatics automatically downloads the necessary reference data to read Final Fantasy XIV data from an online database. To prevent this functionality and use locally cached reference data, select Use Local Cache.

Default: False

Run on Windows Start

If this option is selected, Chromatics will automatically start when you first boot windows.

Default: False

Show Desktop Notifications

If this option is selected, Chromatics will display Windows notification on its current status.

Default: True

Minimise to Tray

If this option is selected, Chromatics will minimise to the system tray if closed using the red X. If this option is disabled, Chromatics will exit when closed using the red X.

Default: True

Enable LCD Displays

This option is only available if a Logitech LCD display is detected.

Enables Logitech Monochrome & Color LCD integration on compatible devices. See LCD Displays for more information.

Send debug data automatically

Opts-in to automatic debug & analytics data to improve app stability in future updates. No personal information is collected or submitted in this process.

Default: True

Release devices on game close

This feature is currently in development.

Releases the device SDK when Chromatics detects that Final Fantasy XIV has exited. This allows desktop profiles to take back control of your RGB devices.

Default: False

Polling Interval

Changes the rate at which Chromatics will poll Final Fantasy XIV for new information. A lower rate will improve the functionality of Chromatics and make effects look smoother on your devices at the cost of increased CPU demand.

Note that polling rates below 150ms can cause instability on some systems.

Default: 200ms

Game Language

Change the language to match your Final Fantasy XIV client.

This feature is currently in development.

Default: English

Clear Cache

Use this button to clear the reference data stored with Chromatics. Please note that Chromatics will close automatically upon using this function.

Effects Settings

Use these check-boxes to enable/disable specific effects that are supported by Chromatics. For more information on each of these effects, refer to the Chromatics Effects section of this documentation.

HP Critical %

Sets the critical threshold of the HP Tracker Device Mode. Once your HP falls below this threshold, the assigned HP Critical color palette will come into effect.

Base Mode

Sets the default Base Mode for your devices to use, for more information please refer to Base Modes.
